Feathers everywhere! — The San Francisco Pillow Fight

So, at the Embarcadero on February 14 there was a massive pillow fight. People came toting pillows, wearing costumes and in some cases, couch cushions (cheaters). What then ensues was massive chaos for an hour. People I presume were taking out their sexual frustration by beating each other senseless with pillows. I even saw a guy get taken down by 6 people and they kept hitting him as to thwart any effort to get up. It was pretty awesome. The facebook invitation went something like this:

No better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with an exceptionally large pillow fight

February 14th, when the Ferry Building clock strikes 6pm.

1) Tell everyone you know about Pillow Fight!

2) Tell EVERYONE YOU KNOW about Pillow Fight!!!

3) Nothing in your pillow but pillow.

4) Don’t hit anyone without a pillow.

5) Don’t hit anyone operating a camera.

Please bring a few trash bags to share and help pick up afterwards.

P.S. Yes, some people do come in costume.
P.P.S. Some people also come with face masks and helmets. It really helps.
