It’s too bad she won’t live, but then again, who does?

I really enjoyed the final cut of this movie and having read Do Androids Dread of Electric Sheep I finally felt like Decker’s humanity was adequately brought into question.
I just got back from my camping/climbing trip to red rocks outside Las Vegas. It was an incredible time and definitely a humbling experience. As soon as I round up all of the photos that were taken, I will make a post about it.
John and I finished our system designed for tracking sensitive information as it is written to the persistent state of a user’s machine. See the poster and paper.
Winter….break? No such thing. I have fellowship apps to finish and some virtualization project research to start. However this brief listing of items basically sums up what I plan to do with my break: eat, code, read, skateboard, climb, dilly-dally, meander, loiter, consume…forage…repeat, fellowship applications and a whole lot of christmas cards.
I’ll be back in Berkeley on the 28th. Leaving tomorrow for Los Angeles to spend some time with my parents and my brother. I love visiting people and I am sure it will be a fantastic time but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve found it difficult to call where my parents reside home. Whenever I leave my current residence, I feel like I leave a piece of myself behind. I guess it’s only two weeks, but dammit, I have a routine*.
John, Mark and I are heading out for some during-the-week weekend chaos. I plan to sleep inside this evening, thankyouverymuch.
*loosely coupled events that usually end in chaos; who am I kidding?

Blade Runner is truly one of the greats. Btw, I read your “about me” and decided that I would follow your advice and assist in the growth of the blogosphere.

It’s so dim in so many scenes. Why? Because by then power is super expensive, BIZAAAACH!
