Back From France

Well, a picture is worth a thousand words, so if you head over to the gallery you can *read* as much as you want. I know I’m being lame, but the trip was long, eventful and fun, I could probably write a book about all the stuff I did. If you want to know hop on aim, email me, or visit me in Champaign (So lonely :-( ). But the quick rundown: the majority of the time, I was in a city in southern France called Avignon. I visited Cassis, Arles, Beaux, and Paris during my stay. The most fun was had in Avignon where I met Raph and Solène. These two people, especially Raph made my trip incredible. It was so nice to find French people who shared the same love for music that I do :-). I was in fact told by them, the first night that we met, that they were the “only 6 emo kids in Avignon”; I feel pretty lucky to have met them. Anyhow, I miss France so much already. I literally miss everything, the language, the food (OH GOD HOW I MISS THE FOOD), the people, the romantic cityscape…everything. Avignon is probably the most beautiful city I have ever seen. With some luck, I will be back there soon! I will post more pictures as I get them, right now there are about 10 pages worth.

As for me now, I was taking a physics class, but I was overworked, so I decided to continue doing research for Professor Nicol. In addition, I think I may continue to audit the class just to make sure I keep my brain alive during the summer. Otherwise, I will be working on some personal projects, studying for the GRE and attempting to expand the wine collection (I keep drinking it).
