semester update

So, this update has been long in the works but instead of giving some grandiose update I’ll make it as short as possible. Christmas break was great, worked on thesis things, played WoW, got to see Erika and I visited with some of my “Ohio” friends. The semester has started and I am already knee-deep in work. I’m currently taking:

CS591RHC: Security Seminar
ECE411: Computer Organization and Design
ECE499: Senior Thesis
FR103: Intermediate French 1
MATH415: Linear Algebra

So far this semester is great. I have been managing my time better than ever and I seem to be able to do a lot more in the way of fun things than any previous semester. My research is going great and hopefully I will finish it soon and start writing my thesis. I am very hopeful about getting published in a conference or workshop this year; please…keep your fingers crossed.

In addition, I got a passport over Christmas break so I can finally leave the country! So the current plan is either France or Japan as soon as the semester is over. I am pretty excited about obtaining a different world view.

More recently, we had a Super bowl Party at Chris’s place. At this party we made food, drank beer and wine, and watched movies. Notice anything there? Yes that’s right, we didn’t watch the super bowl; I am probably the coolest person you will ever meet.

The best news is…Thursday is coming out with a new album! Scheduled for May 2, the album “A City by the Light Divided” is sure to be awesome. I am so excited I can hardly contain myself. Anyhow, I better get back to homework and WoW.
