Having a content management system seems to have increased my productivity by at least tenfold. I no longer have to solely edit css files with vim, upload through ftp, then worry about minor mistakes I have made. Finally, I have a remote shell here, as well as a really rich PHP suite. I must mention though, I do not know PHP at all, yet I have been groking through code for quite a while making minor modifications. C’est la vie, I suppose.

Anyhow, I just added a new image gallery in which I plan on sharing my dreadful photography skills with the world. You can find it above in the pictures category. At least now I won’t have to deal with obfuscated means of sharing my pictures. They will be submitted soon, I promise.

I find it kind of odd that I actually have a web log now; I used to be a major proponent of the anti-blog movement (I just made this up), yet I find it strangely appealing. I suppose that I justify it with the incontrovertible evidence that this is in fact my domain, and my domain needed some useless content. I reason that useless content is far better than no content whatsoever.

Speaking of useless content, I hope to have my code, projects, and other various parts of the site up by sometime next week. This weekend is occupied by far less nerdy things when Erika comes to visit.

Apparently people can comment on my blog as well. I’m not really sure how I feel about that, I may edit the PHP to take that out of the application entirely; or maybe there is some mechanism for disabling them…I don’t know, I don’t have a lot free time lately. So I guess if you feel like leaving a comment go ahead…just remember, in exchange for your post I get your IP address. MUAHAHAHA.

In case you haven’t seen this Badgers Badgers Badgers
